1. What information is collected from me?
When applying for a position on the Grasslands Recruitment Specialists web site, you will be asked to provide personal and non-personal data, including contact information, employment profiles, resumes, and cover letters, through the use of online forms. Grasslands Recruitment Specialists may occasionally request that Career Seekers provide additional information through questionnaires, release forms, references, psychometric assessments, or other means. Grasslands Recruitment Specialists will always request permission from the Career Seekers before collecting any personal data, and will not collect, store, or transmit this information without permission.
2. What information is collected about me from third parties?
Through Grasslands Recruitment Specialists' reference checking procedures, information is collected about you from work-related and personal references that you have provided to us. If you have been short-listed for a particular vacancy, a standard reference check is performed to further qualify you for the position. Grasslands Recruitment Specialists reserves the right to contact your former employers as listed on your resume. These individuals may not be listed as references; however, they will be able to provide valuable input as to your competencies. If you are currently employed and do not want to be contacted at your workplace please inform Grasslands Recruitment Specialists and we will respect your request.
In some circumstances, Grasslands Recruitment Specialists will contract a third party to perform a background check on a selected short-listed candidate. All candidates requiring background checks are made aware of this request and must give their personal authorization before Grasslands Recruitment Specialists will proceed. You may deny this request; however, such denial will result in your removal from the competition.
