How can I get more employers to view my resume/profile?
There are a number of steps you can take to make sure employers notice you on the Job Board:
1. Make yourself visible. In your account settings, you are asked if you wish to allow employers to view your profile. If you set this to 'No', you will not be seen! Employers will only be able to see your information if you apply to their job postings. Set this to 'Yes' if you want employers to be able to view your resume and profile.
2. Enter your resume. In order to show up in employer searches and apply to jobs online, you will need to have a resume in our Job Board system.
3. Fill out your profile. Employers can perform searches on your skills, desired work sector and salary, education background, and locations where you reside or are willing to relocate to, as well as keyword searches on your employment targets and ideal job descriptions. The more you fill out, the better a chance you have of being found by employers.
In addition, you should also check your spelling and grammar in your resume and profile.
