  1. What information is collected from me?

When registering as a work-seeker in the Grasslands Group web site, you will be asked to provide personal and non-personal data, including contact information, employment profiles, resumes, and cover letters, through the use of online forms. Grasslands Group may occasionally request that work-seekers provide additional information through questionnaires, release forms, references, psychometric assessments, or other means. Grasslands Group will always request permission from the work-seeker before collecting any personal data, and will not collect, store, or transmit this information without permission.

As an employer, you may complete online forms such as product information requests, Job Description Surveys, and general enquiries. These requests are confidentially processed by a Grasslands Group Representative who will call you to confirm your request and answer any questions you may have.

  2. What information is collected about me from third parties?

Through Grasslands Group's reference checking procedures, information is collected about you from work-related and personal references that you have provided to us. If you have been short-listed for a particular vacancy, a standard reference check is performed in order to further qualify you for the position. Grasslands Group reserves the right to contact your former employers as listed on your resume. These individuals may not be listed as references; however, they will be able to provide valuable input as to your competencies. If you are currently employed and do not want to be contacted at your workplace, please inform Grasslands Group and we will respect your request.

In some circumstances, Grasslands Group will contract a third party to perform a background check on a selected short-listed candidate. All candidates requiring background checks are made aware of this request and must give their personal authorization before Grasslands Group will proceed. You may deny this request; however, such a denial will result in your removal from the competition.

  3. How will Grasslands Group use my personal information?

Grasslands Group's sole purpose in collecting personal data from work-seekers is to better match work-seekers with employment opportunities. To this end, Grasslands Group may use the information that comprises your Profile, including your resume and contact information, in a number of ways:

    • Grasslands Group may examine your Profile to determine eligibility for employment opportunities that arise through our Executive Search program, as well as opportunities posted on the Grasslands Group job board.
    • Work-seekers may choose to allow employers with access to the Grasslands Group Resume Database to view their profiles. This option is made available when registering as a work-seeker, and can be changed on the Edit Profile page. Profiles will always be made visible to employers who receive an online application from you.

Other information, such as psychometric assessments, questionnaire responses, and employer references, will only be made available to employers considering you for a position with your express consent.

  4. Does Grasslands Group collect any non-personal information from me?
